Reports from the death of the 27 year old American do not even agree on the date - either the 17th or 18th of September 1970 - an ambulance was anonymously called to a London hotel, and by all accounts of the eye-witnesses, Jimi Hendrix was ALIVE when he entered the ambulance.

Allegedly, on the evening of September 17, 1970, Eric Clapton walked up the steps to the Lyceum Theatre in London [the theatre entrance has no steps].

Mr Clapton carried with him a white, left-handed Fender Stratocaster guitar... [Mr Hendrix played a right-handed guitar 'inverted' or flipped. To string his guitar, Jimi Hendrix took a standard right handed Fender Stratocaster and flipped it. Once flipped he would re-string the guitar to move the strings to conventional placement that would be found on a left handed guitar.]...

The left-handed guitar Eric Clapton had was intended as a gift for Jimi Hendrix, who he'd planned to meet at the Lyceum theatre [previously known as the Lyceum ballroom].

The meeting never took place.

The guitar remained with Clapton and, several hours later, Hendrix was pronounced dead - some reports say he died in his girlfriend's hotel room - other reports claim it happened in hospital.

Strangely, Eric Clapton told an interviewer from the BBC that he had seen Hendrix that night across the other side of the theatre, sitting in a private box.

It was a strange recollection given that all the available evidence suggests Hendrix never made it to the Lyceum that night. Or did he?

Was it a ghost? A premonition?

Whatever the case, the death of Jimi Hendrix was also the death of 'the sixties' - a decade in which the post-war children had challenged the fabric of society and shook off the monotone, monosyllabic fascist dictatorship of the DEEP STATE...
