In the 1960s, Scandinavian scientists set up a new kind of recording studio - they wanted to record sounds, music and words - from ghosts. Konstantin Raudive was a Latvian psychologist and parapsychologist who studied under Carl Yung, and released a vinyl record of various spirits speaking from ‘the other side’.

In the 1960’s Konstantin Raudive pioneered EVP experiments and devised a method where the microphone was replaced with a germanium diode. People were astonished when his colleague recorded voices of spirits without the microphone even connected.

Both technologies use VHF [Very High Frequency] and UHF [Ultra High Frequency]. Lodge believed that radio and TV signals might from time to time get interfered with by SPIRITS.
