We know two things about the vast ancient forest wilderness of old BOHEMIA: Firstly, there were millions of 'Fiddlers on the Roof' and a huge ancient Ashkenazi Hebrew population, which are variously portrayed in Hollywood movies as Gypsies, tinkers, money lenders etc...

And secondly, Bohemia - especially Transylvania - was running alive with VAMPIRES - they've been hanging around drinking the blood of local peasants for centuries and built castles and considerable wealth...

Bohemia gradually became 'gentrified', becoming a duchy of Great Moravia, later an independent principality, a kingdom in the Holy Roman Empire, and subsequently a part of the Habsburg monarchy and the Austrian Empire. The Bohemian vampires joined High Society, awarding themselves minor titles, such as Baron, Count and Countess...

By the 20th century, more than two million Bohemians were said to follow Judaism, and the consulting of ROTAS squares, TAROT, and Jewish mysticism was rife in the highways and byways of Bohemia... As were the so called NOSFERATU - the 'UnClean' or 'UnDead'...

The regional headquarters of the blood-sucking vampyres was Transylvania. It was here that a subterranean 'university' of the occult attracted ghoulish students from well heeled families. In Romania, the school was known as the Scholmancha.

In Judaic mystical histories, blood-suckers are known as 'Alukah' and actually appear in the Book of Proverbs.

Legends from Bohemia say that rich people in castles were homicidal cannibals.

In Romanian mythology there is a series of strange characters called Solomonari (seers), with shamanic skills [such as the Third Eye], capable of riding dragons known as Zmeu, flying above the clouds - which in all likelihood is a veiled reference to their knowledge of hallucinogenic plants.
