In 1952, the US Air Force Intelligence division sent a memo to the FBI about research into the ETHER and 'FLYING SAUCERS'.

A group of independent scientists, funded by an entrepreneur in California, stated that Flying Discs were real, and that they had initiated communications with the 'men operating the flying saucers'.
