It is a sacred spot where Hindus apply a tilak bindi to show reverence for it. In Hinduism, the third eye refers to the ajna (or brow) chakra.

In both Hinduism and Buddhism, the third eye is said to be located around the middle of the forehead. One of the telltale signs that a lot of the magic and wisdom of the Pharaohs in ancient Egypt actually came from INDIA is their symbols like the cobra at the Ajna chakra of the forehead...

The physicians and astrologers employed by the Pharaohs diagnosed bodily ailments in accordance with the movement of stars and planets. Likewise, Hindu/Indian/Vedic Medical Astrology (IMA) developed and flourished in India several thousand years ago...
