The Vedas reveal that there was a theocracy, ruled by Yogis all over India and the Himalayas. These Yogis provided the 'prototype' of the Pharaohs.

Many of these Yogis fasted, performed rituals and were scholarly astrologers and astronomers. Astrology and astronomy were one encompassing science, which, became in the Persian states, enticed with chemistry to give us ALCHEMY.
